APRIL FOOL SONG

Tune: “Jingle Bells”

April fool, April fool,

April fool today.

You fool me and I fool you,

Then we laugh and say –

April fool, April fool!

It’s so fun to play.

You fool me and I fool you.

That’s how we play

today!

JOKES

  • What monster plays the most April Fool’s jokes?
    Prankenstein!

  • What do you get if you cross a dog with a prankster’s holiday?
    April Drool’s Day!

  • What would you get if you crossed Halloween with April 1?
    April Ghoul’s Day!

  • What’s the best day for monkey business?
    The first of Ape-ril!

  • Do you know all about April 1st?
Yes, I’m fooly aware of it!

  • Why is everyone so tired on April 1?
Because they’ve just finished a long, 31 day March!

  • What’s the difference between Thanksgiving and April Fool’s Day?
On one you’re thankful and on the other you’re prankful!

PARENTS SURVEY--PLEASE TAKE!

Happy Spring!  It is that time of year again for us to take part in our school questionnaire regarding technology.  We again are partnering with BrightBytes, an educational research and analytics company, in order to learn more about our students’ school and home technology use for learning.   Your participation is essential in helping us form a more complete picture of technology use for learning in our students’ lives.  This will be done through a comprehensive framework called CASE that looks at the Classroom factors, Access to technology, teacher and student Skills and Environmental factors.  We collected this information as well in the fall.  The information gathered is vital to our implementation efforts for next school year and beyond.

Please click the BrightBytes button on the left to take the survey. Please know that all of your responses will remain anonymous to protect your privacy and they will help your child's school choose the right technology for their classrooms.  It will take approximately 5 minutes to complete.

The last day to complete this questionnaire is May 11th. Thank you for taking part in this important initiative!

"A Time to Remember"

Memorial Day

is a time to remember,

to honor and show our respect

for all men and women

who gave up their lives

for the country they fought to protect.

Although we cannot

picture all their faces

nor recognize each person's name,

we give thanks today for

those brave U.S. soldiers.

When called by our country, they came.

School is Closed on Monday, May 28th, for Memorial Day

SES Memorial Day Program remembering those that gave their all and thanking those that served or are serving in our Armed Forces.

The NAIS Carnival desperately needs your help!  Volunteers are needed for 1 hour shifts for games, inflatables, and exhibits.  Clearances are not required.  This is an easy, fun way to support your kids' school.
