Shafer enjoyed RIF at our school on December 13th! Shafer students received a free book today as part of RIF (reading is fundamental). A special thank you to our PTA and parent volunteers!

Mrs. Chromiak's class.  He gave the weather report on Tuesday, December 11th!  Great job, Kaeden!

The School Spirit Committee is sponsoring a “PJ Day” on Friday, December 21st to support the Nazareth Area Food Bank over this holiday season. 

 

We are asking students to bring in a donation of a non-perishable food item. Some suggested items they are in need of include canned meat/veggies/fruit/beans, peanut butter and jelly, boxed cereal, stews/chili/sloppy joe’s/soups, side dishes such as Rice-a-Roni/Mac and Cheese/ instant mashed potatoes, and bags or boxes of noodles. Students are encouraged to wear their best PJ’s! (no slippers)

HELLO WINTER!

SES held their second Read-in!

Kids, teachers and staff read during a designated time in the morning. Our kids are on their way to reading 100 books for our school-wide Aloha to Reading Challenge this year! Kids, don't forget to record your reading on your reading challenge form!

THANKS FOR EVERYONE WHO CAME OUT TO SES FOR HOLIDAY NIGHT!

The School Spirit Committee is sponsoring a “Black Out Day” on Friday, December 16th to support the Nazareth Area Food Bank over this holiday season. 

 

We are asking students to bring in a donation of a non-perishable food item. Some suggested items they are in need of include canned soup, jelly, boxed cereal, vegetable, stewed/diced tomatoes, Rice-a-Roni, and baked beans. Students are encouraged to wear all black and black out Shafer!

Daria Lechwar, second grader in Mrs. Zopf's class, was the first one to guess that Nazareth's first snowfall over an inch would be on Saturday, December 9th.  She made her guess on December 8th.  Great job, Daria!  Daria will receive a snow-rific surprise on Thursday!
